Venezuela diary cover photo

Caracas, Venezuela (Dec 16, 2004)

I am posting above the original photo I used for the cover of my “Venezuela Diary”. The orchid was hanging from a palm tree in my father in law garden. It is quite amazing how these beautiful flowers grows so easily in the tropical climate, even in urban areas like Caracas.
