I typically tend to avoid photos with colors that are too saturated, but the landscapes we traversed last weekend in the rural areas of Illinois and Wisconsin lead to this result. It was not just the golden shades of the bright sun on the dry corn stalks and the soy seeds, it was nature as a whole that was exploding in colors. I guess that’s what autumn is for... the vivid foliage, the blue sky... the last song of the seasons before the white calmness of winter.
