Stroll at the beach

Crane Beach, MA (Mar 10, 2007)

Back from another trip, with two new observing proposal deadlines looming at the near horizon. It has been too long since last time I went out happily snapping with my camera, and I am missing it. This one if from one of my last outings at Crane Beach... March in New England is still quite cold. Not cold enough for a few selected people that like strolling on semi-deserted beaches, though, and love the sound of the waves crashing hard on the cold sand.

Semi-deserted beaches are fun, and sometimes they are only semi-deserted when it’s cold. Your image and description are making me hear the waves and smell the salt water. It’s time for a walk on the beach.
