Haiti again

The same airplane window of the previous post, many miles later, above Haiti. The view is rarely as clear than during that flight, and is quite impressive to see the landscape below with such details. What is even more impressive, though, is that the same view on google maps has a few more zoom levels than this photo. If you zoom on the google view you can get to see the details of individual buildings in the city. The T-shaped peninsula is actually some seaport structure, as at maximum zoom one can see many containers ready to be embarked on boats like the one just at the tip of the peninsula. It is quite amazing how modern technology allows an even better magnification from orbit, than from an airplane flying directly above...
