Cold and windy

Chicago, IL (March 8, 2008)
We spent the weekend in Chicago. It was freezing cold, with a merciless wind blowing sparse flurries of March snow from the lake. Apparently this is quite normal weather over there, this time of the year. From the pier of the Adler Planetarium, looking downtown, as the clouds come and go. The ice looks like is here to stay, tough, at least for a little while more. Sometimes I wish we can change the weather the same way we switch to daylight saving time...
