Jennifer at sunset at Plum Island, a beach on the Boston north shore. She is looking at “Itza”, her Canon GL2 videocamera. This is a very characteristic image of Jennifer. Sometimes she uses Itza as a video diary, and makes movies that are like intense and introspective long monologues. Other times she just records a sea snail crossing the frame, or a sand sculpture eroded by the sea, or surprises us by finding shapes and colors that we would not otherwise see.
