Close-up of Piccola, one of my sister’s horses. She lives in San Bartolomeo, a small village in the italian Alps, quite close to France. Since “Piccola” is too difficult to pronounce, my two years old niece Alice calls her “Pilla”. Alice likes Pilla very much, and says that she is
her horse. Even if she is only two years old she already rides the horse (which is ten times taller than her), even without saddle, holding herself up by the mane.
