Today is Sami’s birthday. He has his birthday
two weeks later than Ornitorinko. In the little photo on the left his is doing yoga, which is his passion. We all hope one day to be aligned and elastic as him, and possibly a little less hamstring challenged as we are now...
Sami wanted to go today to the yoga studio close to Harvard Sq., as a present for his birthday. The place is called “
Karma Yoga Studio”, and is where Mt. Auburn St merges with Mass Ave. Unfortunately I was right in the middle of a problem, and I couldn’t leave work early enough to go there... so now he will have to wait until Thursday. The bad part is that I stayed at work until late just to find out that what I was doing was essentially pointless. I spent the last two days working to a coordinate transformation script just to find out that (a) the equations were much more complicated than I thought and (b) there are plenty of libraries that I can incorporate in my program that do all the job I need. Meaning I could have gone to yoga with Sami (and Mayli) and have the same amount of work done (right, but just don’t tell him!).
Ah, I also made some research about the musical group featured in yesterday’s post. They are called “Prelude de Paris”, and all google returns of them is that they have auditioned to play in the Metro de Paris (apparently you need a permit for that), as
reported by Agence France-Press. Well, then there is also a
page from a Japanese guy who apparently goes around collecting photos of street musicians (the page is in japanese and this is just a guess, so the page may just be about anything). Tomorrow I’ll post some other photos from that concert...
