Wow - those mountains almost look like a double exposure. Very beautiful capture. Sounds like a fabulous area to drive - maybe ride a motorcycle
The window has had an interesting “filter” effect - I imagine the light on the landscape was more harsh. I nice image made all the more powerful by asking the question about the power lines. The combination of image and prose evokes an emotional response in the viewer - made me pause for thought, made me ask the same question, made me imagine possible answers. Thanks!
Yes, the light on this landscape was more harsh in the foreground, and was toned down by the tint of the window. However, the mountains in the background were hazed by mist and dust that seems to be perennial in this season (albeit this is a desert area, this was the humid season), so all the photos that I took (outside of the car) have a reddish tint in the foreground and a bluish tint in the background. Kind of nightmare in post processing, but also an occasion for unusual colors.
Great colors, the contrast between the browns and blues works really well.
