Massimo,
Welcome back. I too have been away from my blog and those of my friends for too long. I plan to start posting more frequently now. Great aerial shot. I like the range of colors from foreground to background and how the change is both gradual and sudden.
Nice choice in the inclusion of a slice of atmospheric gradient with which to complement that vast sprawl of desert terrain. Hawaii sounds splendid considering the extended stretch of dismal gray dampness we’ve been ‘enjoying’ here in New England - even if Hawaii meant work rather than relaxation, I’d take it
Buen tiro amigo. De momento parece otro planeta, me gusta que en la composición incluyeras el horizonte.
I would have to say you have the best taken-from-above photographs I’ve seen.
Your work sounds interesting Massimo but also a bit hectic. I enjoy your aerial views and geoabstract images. I feel sometimes that I share part of your journey, both on the flight but then also at the meeting discussing obscure scientific detail in a room full of enthusiastic scientists. Its this combination of prose and image thats keeps me hooked on your blog.
I too am always amazed at how different the texture of the Earth looks from an airplane...it gives a whole new perspective on how we move about the planet. Being a Star Trek fan is a good thing...
I can tell you were sleepy when you posted this, you seem to have lost an entire year on the date below the photo.
