to tell you the truth it never looked like anything other than the pacific, maybe the indian on a strange day, but the atlantic it was never going to be...
We see that here in the gutters when it rains, and all over our cars. Luckily, it only lasts for a few weeks.
Thats amazing - imagine what it must be like to be allergic to pollen. How many billion pollen grains are needed to change the color of the ocean.....
Quite amazing looking. I remember this happening in the lakes and streams in Alaska, but I’ve never noticed it in the ocean. It must have been a VERY heavy pollen season. Poor allergy sufferers!
wow, there is almost a surreal feel to it with the yellow and yet it still manages to be completely peaceful at the same time. lovely!
I thought you had applied some photoshop filter... Amazing shot! So unreal... Ciao!
WOW! I’ve never in all my years in New England (which is all of ‘em) seen such a concentration of pollen at the ocean’s edge. Ponds and rivers, streams and lakes, surely - but at the beach? Great timing for this discovery.
What a quite amazing shot, the wonderful strange colours, but also the curvature of the beach round the cove, leading to the horizon line. Excellent.
