A dad can always do macigal things
Very lovely and good picture!
The toning and light are fabulous - almost looks one dimensional. The gradient works well - don’t know if you added it or not. Wonder about a slight crop? Either way, great image!
That would scare me, too. It looks miserable. Nice tones and great story!
Beautiful work in your photoblog. Added to my favorites. More inspiration as I’ve only recently lauched and I’m still a light year
Daddies are amazing people. They can battle monsters and give us hugs all within minutes. I love this combination of words and image, Massimo. It makes me smile.
very nice shot. i like the active positions you captured father and son in. the softness and grain add to the atmosphere and suit the written sentiment.
So totally at odds with my expectations of a day at the beach. The question I always ask is, why does everyone always run out of the sea when it starts raining? Are they afraid of getting wet?
Yea... the problem is that in New England at the beach is usually colder than inland, because of the north Atlantic winds. In winter is totally freezing, to the point that the sea can be covered by slabs of ice:

well, i’m not a dad, but i AM a parent, and i know firsthand how that expression of total trust can fill one with pride. it also pinched me with a tiny feeling of fear, knowing that there are forces in the world that can hurt those i love no matter how heartfelt and dedicated my nurturing is. my little ones are big these days, and the storms have been successfully weathered up till now, but i still hold that umbrella of protective affection and acceptance over their heads: i just don’t let them see it.
such a cool image! soft and warm despite the umbrella... and now I miss my dad!
wonderful job processing this photo. Very nostalgic feel, almost dreamy. Great tones.
