I love this photo, and your story about the little boy just adds to the mood. There’s something about the look on his face that you can tell he’s running back to his father.
Oh, Massimo, your story is precious and fits this image so well.
fantastic! la luz, el encuadre, los colores, el sujeto..., todo hace de esta foto una de mis favoritas!
I love this image! It really has a cold, wet atmosphere to it.
I used to love playing in the rain, but now I really hate the water spots on my glasses. And of course, I’d want to have my camera with me!
Nice dreamy feel. The way the child’s colors contrast to the background is masterful.
This is a shot full of atmosphere... very nice! I used to stay out in the rain despite my mother’s warnings

Excellent image. Love the hazy background. Very well composed!
oh wow ... this soooo reminds me of my childhood, growing up near a beach, swimming and running around in the rain was a normal summer event! Really beautifully captured - love this so much! thanks for the memory
I like the action and the atmosphere of this shot. What catches my eye the most is that red pail. I love the toys kids of this age play with...pails, shovels, balls, etc. All simple objects that rely on the creativity of an uncluttered, youthful mind. Wonderful photo.
The innocence of childhood....
You have captured this in the image and in your words.
ooooh!!
Ah, the joy of youth. What I like is that he’s the only bit of colour against a more or less monotoned background. Being from the Caribbean though, shoes and socks on the beach just seem wrong to me.
And apparently Trinidadian mothers and Italian mothers share a common bond regarding rain and colds.
Your story adds to the beauty of this image. A story within a story. I think it’s about time you started running in the rain.
what affected me deeply in this image is its feeling of confidence and trust: this boy is hurtling forward, knowing full well that, at the end of his sprint, he will be lifted and enclosed in loving, accepting arms, and cherished, and that is the true essence of freedom.
i ALWAYS, at the slightest chill or damp, cover my neck. if i don’t, i suffer later. last saturday i took an evening cycle in just a t-shirt and jeans - it was lovely weather - and i’m paying for my negligence now: ILL. Add Comment
