Thank you for the comments and feedback, took your advise and cropped the 3 ladies..
Anyway, this is beautiful, the water looks so calm and the blue gives such a peaceful vibe
yes, dedication and sacrifice (of shoes in this case
So are we going to see the picture she took?
And, as usual, dedication pays dividends, as with this photo. What is really striking for me in this photo is the area on the beach where she is positioned. It is as if she is sqatting on a huge, pliable rubber mat, and her weight and that of the camera and tripod is making a temporary indentation in the supple material that will return to its original shape and form when she has moved on. Lovely.
This sure looks familiar to me. I’ve gotten my fet wet numerous times. Love that blue lighting.
I love photos of photographers at work (play?). This is a great one. The subtle vertical lines in the foreground and the slight motion blur of the waves give it a nice sense of movement.
So often while concentrating on a shot, I totally zone everything else out. My husband comes with me to keep watch, especially when in grizzly bear country. This past trip, I was trying to get a shot, and found myself standing in waist high stinging nettles (I was wearing shorts) and I never felt a thing, until the shot was over, then I suffered for the rest of the day.
Beautiful serene image. I can feel how this must of felt to be waiting for just the right moment.
I like how the water almost seems to be dented by the tripod. The detail is really fine in this.
I really appreciate those photographers with this great passion for photography. Those are the people who know how to capture the beauty around them. Keep up the good work, Massimo!
Beautifully worded, and a very nice photograph as well. Sometimes, even if that perfect frame eludes me in the end, the dedication itself that I put in makes it all worthwhile.
fantastic composition, colour and as Matt pointed out, the indentation really adds something special here, like she has been waiting for so long that the earth has curved inwards .. stunning image!
I love the pink patch in the upper left corner and the water trails created by the tripod. Nice atmosphere (and dedication!) in this shot.
this is so true. you do very well to explain yourself. i love to read your stories.
