Yes, it certainly does look like a trail left by a snake. Your written comments make your photographs come alive and I thats what keeps me coming back and enjoying each visit.
I’ve never been a big fan of aerial photography, but when couched in mythological terms the landscape comes alive. We see as much with our imaginations as with our eyes.
I love looking down at the natural patterns carved out of the earth ... this is a beautiful example, mythical indeed

That’s one of my favorite things about flying...seeing what the earth has to show us from a different perspective.
there are a least 3 x S in that shot, which makes me wonder about the root of the word “snake”.....?
i really don’t like flying in an airplane, but i sure get to see lots of interesting scenery once i’m up there.
