beautiful silhouette... and you have a very pretty subject. i like the expression on her face... just the perfect mood for the photo.
This is a very nice silhouette. And you’re right about the tangent light on her arm. That’s the element that makes it work.
It is a wonderful portrait. Her pose is perfect and I love how she is framed by the rocks. I wouldn’t do anything differently because I think the composition is ideal as it is.
This is lovely! i love the composition, how the woman’s silhouette is framed by the rocks, and her arm reaching across and against the rock. Maybe it’s the abstractness of her figure; it relates her more strongly to the rocks - because it does seem that somehow she is interacting with the rocks here. wonderful!
i absolutely love how there’s only a little negative space in this picture. the strong shadows and the cutout white sky make a striking composition.
I like this very much, especially the way the curve of the rock on the right helps focus attention on her face. The merging of her legs with the ground is not a problem, and in fact may even be an advantage. Light around her legs might have distracted attention from her face. Beautiful!
Very good photograph. Perhaps the only thing I would do is crop out the bottom starting just below the last bit of light. Below that point the blackness doesn’t add to the picture and looks a little dead....so to speak.
