me encanta ese tono y la suavidad que respira. La composición es bellísima también
I have never been to Paris, but this image and the last one of the city posted, portray how I imagine the city to look and feel when I read about it. Timeless architecture, lazy afternoons, romance and a good wine. Most of all, time to sit and enjoy with life has to offer.
This is very beautiful, Massimo. The soft tones really fit the scene perfectly.
It’s true the french have wine with lunch then go back to work! What is that phallic monument on the horizon? its not disimilar to this no....

Graeme, sure it is true! And it is the same in Italy, and I guess Spain too. In mediterranean countries is normal to have one or two glasses of wine at lunch and dinner. In those dosages you don’t get drunk (especially since you are eating at the same time), and wine can even have some good health effects. The wine culture in these countries is more about tasting, than the effects of the alcohol present in the wine and you learn tasting wine without abusing since you are a child (there is no minimum legal drinking age).
I am not sure what the obelisk is for. It does resemble the one in your photo. It is possible (I don’t remember now) that there is another identical obelisk at the other end of the bridge. Maybe somebody living in Paris can clarify?
You have managed to get an Atget style image distinguished by the presence of people, and it works very well. Quite serene.
BEATIFUL PICTURE MY FRIEND, IT LOOKS LIKE GOING BACK IN TIME, I LOVE IT!!!!
I think you’ve accomplished your goal quite well Massimo. Though that obelisk does seem very slightly tilted (to the right).
Again I am moved by your photos of Paris. And again I dream of visiting one day. The toning is really lovely and captures that timeless feel so well. For me, the men in suits makes the shot. It brought a smile to my face on a day when I really needed an escape. Thank you. Again.
