The tonal range is so beautiful in this portrait. I also love that you can see a hint of motion in the bow.
Beautiful portrait. The soft highlights through his hair, shirt, and violin are almost musical. The blur in the bow is also effective for the melodious nature of this photo. Wonderful.
This is an excellent companion to your earlier Prelude de Paris. The lighting and composition are very nice. (And I do feel a LITTLE bit sorry for you, as you sound very overworked right now.)
This gentleman’s expression is most heart wrenching, he looks so sad, as if his music is reminding him of something painful. Soulful, serene yet totally captivating. It is one of those pictures that once you look at it, you will never forget it. Beautiful Massimo.
